# Workshop

The workshop is an in-game space that allows you to customize and upgrade your NFT car. This is your garage where all your cars are stored, essentially representing your inventory. You can show off your collection to friends or other players.

The workshop allows you to manage your collection of cars and customization. The workshop has predetermined slots for cars, but you can place each car wherever you deem necessary. You can also swap cars in slots.

The workshop can hold a limited number of cars, but the number of available slots can be increased for $ONI. New cars and skins become available as modes are added and demand arises.

From your friends list, you can also view other users' cars and make them offers to buy or rent their cars.

RaceOnLife will also feature car dealerships in the form of decentralized and tradable NFTs. Dealership owners will receive income in the form of $ONI.

$ONI can be used to improve your car's characteristics or purchase new ones. Each car have three main characteristics:

1. Overclocking (acceleration)
2. Brakes (braking)
3. Rudder (handling)

This, together with the basic characteristics, determines the car's efficiency in the game.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://raceonlife.gitbook.io/raceonlife/game-overview/workshop.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
